The Avedia Story

Avedia Foods is excited to introduce the Mamas Kitchen range, introducing quality and delicious ready to eat Nigerian cuisine.

Avedia Foods was created when a homesick Nigerian family living in Cape Town, South Africa, realised they were not the only ones missing "authentic Naija Food".

Avedia Foods’ Mama’s Kitchen range has been developed out of a deep passion for traditional Nigerian food combined with years of research to perfect a preparation process that ensures the freshness, aroma and texture of the reciepes. This range is one of the most exciting things to happen on the Nigerian food scene.

Capturing the essence of Nigerian food with recipes handed down through many generations, Mama’s Kitchen products are delicious, healthy, and nutritious.

All products can be purchased direct from the Avedia Foods website and shipped to the African continent, the United Kingdom and the United States.
